  • Heritage Harbor Golf: A water accented par 72, 6,900 yard championship golf course that pleases golfers and birds alike. The beautifully manicured grounds are a refuge for hawks, ospreys, loons, ibis, herons and kingfishers. The course can be found just off the Heritage Harbor Parkway in Lutz, Florida, and was designed to be highly playable to novices yet pose unique challenges to experienced golfers. First built in 1927 by architect Donald Ross, this 18 hole championship course was recently refurbished and is just like new (but remains in keeping with the well loved old-fashion design of Northstyle courses). The layout is a challenge, especially with the wind factor, but beginners will find DCC approachable and fair. Course rates at 6605 yards, with a par of 71.6, and the slope is 129.   • Westwood Plateau: A master-planned community located in Coquitlam, BC, designed by a company that values quality construction and sets standards for environmental integrity. The community is oriented around an 18-hole championship golf club and features a 9-hole golf academy. It has access to schools, parks, sports fields and a shopping district, plus approximately 700 acres of green space that includes a network of trails and protected fish bearing creeks. The challenging 18 hole, 7131 yard course is not without some skill testing obstacles but is still a playable golfing experience for even beginner golfers. Graham Cooke design it to be an ideal spot for tournaments and that is what The Dunes at Kamloops is. They have a fantastic practice facility, grass tees and target greens, plus chipping and putting greens. Private lots, first class amenities and convenient location. All this plus an 18 hole, par 72, 7050 yard monster of a course. One of the only desert golfing experiences to be found in Canada.   • Salish at Maple Bay Golf: Championship golf at its finest and luxurious living away you. Salish Homes is a master planned community with a gigantic par 72 golf course, and finely crafted houses. Located near Victoria, BC, one of the premier holiday destinations in Canada, in the temperate Cowichan Valley.
